We are currently only offering 3D printing presentations at the Menomonee Falls library makerspace, The Forge. Gathering in groups has proven difficult during COVID times. We will do our best to push through and provide our knowledge in as many ways as we can. Our YouTube Channel is launching the beginning of February of this year! Look for Ristow Designs on Youtube!
If you have ever wanted to know how a 3D printer works, or would like to know how a printer can be usefully integrated into your life, then this is perfect for you. Focusing on the basics of 3D printing mechanics, one will be able to leave this class with a vast amount of resources to hit the ground running in the everchanging 3D printing world. We cover the hardware of a printer, the software to prepare files, software for designing, and much more. The class is purposely designed to be engaging to the attendees, making sure that it's not just another lecture. There will be examples and discussion on design techniques, types of printers, their applications, and samples to take home.
We offer a hour long presentation, with an additional hour of Q&A and up close interaction.
There are printers on hand and running throughout the presentation. Along with the software used to prepare and design parts.
